Barefoot golf in Myrtle Beach doesn’t disappoint. It is a must play courses so enjoy Wednesdays and treat yourself to this Midweek Barefoot Golf Savings. Just choose any Wednesday that works for you – pick a barefoot course and book – is it easy and you will love these courses,

Featuring four outstanding courses, the Barefoot Resort is truly a destination unto itself, especially for golfers. The Norman Course features striking holes along the Intracoastal Waterway and takes full advantage of the natural landscape. The course designed by Davis Love III is a traditional Low country plantation course featuring wide fairways and ample landing areas. The third trek, by Tom Fazio, also features a classic Low country design and is flanked by water and dense tree cover. The picturesque (and semi-private) Dye Course, meanwhile, is set against the Carolina Bays and features many of its designer’s signature pitfalls, requiring that golfers avoid being distracted by the scenery.

The Barefoot Dye Course was absolutely beautiful – fantastic holes and the course is in great shape. But it is a tough course. Miss a shot by a little, and you will be punished. You really need to play the correct set of tees. Play the Dye course, but just know that it’s a challenge!

The Barefoot Love Course was ranked #6 “Best New Upscale Public Course in America-2000” by Golf Digest and most recently Golf Digest rated #38– “America’s 100 Greatest Public Courses- 2005-2006” and #1 “Top 50 Courses in Myrtle Beach.” New in 2006, a 30-acre lighted practice facility complete with teaching school, New York-style pizzeria and deli sports bar.

Many Believe that Barefoot Fazio Course  is the most challenging and beautiful of the 3 and has more variety which is tough when you play beach golf with few natural elevations. This 18 hole course is a beauty, coming in with water all along the left side and the clubhouse where golfers enjoy a beer and lunch while watching folks hit to the green and putt out. The one improvement could be to put in steps to many of the deep sand traps, it’s a pain to climb out of the suckers. They need to imitate the Brits with their pot bunkers where you just walk out on steps. It’s quite a value, Myrtle Beach is the king of reasonable golf and Barefoot golf packages are a great combination of great courses, nice accommodations and being close to excellent restaurants and shopping is a real plus.
