Tidewater has 5 sets of tees designed to provide opportunities for golfers of all skill levels to enjoy a round here. The tips measure 7044yards and play to a slope of 144 – a great challenge for experienced players. . Alternate sets measure 6771 yards/138 slope, 6323 yards with a 130 slope , 5734 yards/119 slope for men and 138 for women, and 4648 yards with a slope of 123 for ladies hitting from the forward tees. Pro Link GPS on all golf carts provides accurate measurements from tee to pin, and 150 yard stakes are also posted on all par fours and fives. 93 soft sand bunkers are situated along the landing zones on the gently rolling fairways or greenside, and water comes into play on 12 holes.
The course design is such that most golfers will have an opportunity to use every club in their bag. Players will encounter a wonderful variety of hole designs and shot selections. Both nines have traditional tree lined par fours and fives mixed in with holes that run alongside the tidal marshes. The par 3 third and par 4 fourth are simply spectacular – with the marshlands situated directly to the left – affording amazing vistas. In the same area, the par three 12th is similarly breathtaking – and presents for all practical purposes an island green.
From the clubhouse visitors can view the ninth green to the left and 18th green to the right – both of which are situated hazardously close to the marsh. This is great viewing!

Nice Course but too many rules
This course probably is one of the top in the area but a little over the top with dress and rules.

Definitely in the Top 10
I would say Tidewater belongs in the top 10 for Myrtle beach courses. I haven’t played all of them yet but played a lot and this course is great. Nice layout and pace.
