Burning Ridge is a nice course and well maintained, not too busy, wide fairways, long par 3 (200 yards), very difficult green due to where the hole has been placed.
The course has great doglegs left and right and enough hazards thrown in to make it somewhat difficult. There are 4 sets of tees designed to provide opportunities for golfers of all skill levels to enjoy a round here. The tips measure 6780 yards and play to a slope of 1137. Alternate sets measure 6216 yards/133 slope, 5724 yards with a 123 slope and 4524 yards with a slope of 111 from the forward tees. 100, 150 and 200 yard markers are posted on all par fours and fives and some sprinkler heads also have measurements to the center of the green. Color coded flags indicate front, middle or back hole locations.
There are 35 sand bunkers situated along the landing zones on the gently rolling fairways or greenside, and water comes into play on 8 holes The course design is such that most golfers will have an opportunity to use every club in their bag. Players will encounter raised greens and mildly sloping putting surfaces.

The course offers golfers a good variety of holes from all four of its tees. It’s a tough course from the Black tees but fair from the Amateur, Women’s, and Senior tees. The course is also known as a very woman-friendly course, as evidenced by our thoughtfully laid out women’s tees and our significant female membership.

The hazards keep you on your toes
There is water on some holes but still a nice experience. And doglegs are all around with hazards that keep you on your game.afun course.

Enjoyed our Golf Round
The pace of the course was good, no waiting behind others – with over-booking like the legends moorland course usually has. A lot of water on the first few holes, but definitely a challenging course.
