Farmstead located in Calabash, NC is the only par 6 on the strand and is located only a short drive from North Myrtle Beach on the North Carolina border.  The convenient location and beautiful fairways winding through native coastal grasses and sparkling lakes make this course popular. The Farmstead course starts in South Carolina and ends in North Carolina gives every Farmstead player something share with buddies. It is 679 long yards from the white tee with a slight dog leg left. Water on the left will swallow your shot if you try to shorten the hole just a bit by cutting the corner. Now I know what you are thinking, this gives me a better chance at par or birdie on the course signature hole. Yeah you can do it but… you will still need four good shots to reach the green.

OUR FOURSOME PLAYED FOUR ROUNDS IN NORTH MYRTLE THE FIRST WEEKEND IN MARCH. PLAYED FARMSTEAD, PEAR WEST AND RIVERS EDGE (2X). COURSES WERE IN FINE SHAPE. RANGES ON PEARL AND RIVERS EDGE WERE CLOSED. STAYED AT BRUNSWICK PLANTATION. 2 BR CONDO WAS CLEAN AND SUITED US PERFECTLY. VERY GOOD ARRANGEMENTS AND ECONOMICAL PACKAGE. WOULD DEFINITELY WORK WITH THEM AGAIN.

Played this and Thistle Course and Nice Couple days
We usually play around 6 rounds but with the weather we cancelled some rounds. The ones later in the week because of the storm. At least we got some rounds in and always wanted to play farmstead so got the chance and it was worth it. Nice layout and pace. Love the area too.

Interesting course
This follows an interesting layout bordering both north and South Carolina weaving in and out with a picture perfect scenery it is definitely worth playing.

Nice Layout – good condition. Really enjoyed the 18th hole Par 6 767 yards (got par)! It does force you to play the approach shot a little bit smarter or you pay for it.
