The Avocet, designed as a signature course by the team of Jeff Brauer and Larry Nelson, presents creative contouring, elevated tees and greens, and an all around uniqueness that cannot be matched. The opening hole, a 402-yard par-4, sports grass depressions in lieu of sand bunkers around the green. The par-4 sixth hole features a three-tiered, double green shared with the par-3 17th. The 362-yard ninth, considered by many to be the signature hole, has a double fairway bisected by a line of grass and sand pot bunkers.

Professionalism & Great Service make the Wild Wing experience a good reason to play. The course is consistently in good shape with true greens and lots of grass on the fairways. Pick your tees wisely because the greens play long. Nice vistas for approach shots with deep bunkers make this course challenging up and down.

- Club House Kitchen closes early – no food after 4:00pm and lacks atmosphere.
Enjoyed the course but disappointed in the club house
We had a later tee time and thought we could get food after but found out it wasn’t available and we were very disappointed.

Loved the Greens and fairways
Very challenging course and in fantastic condition – greens and fairways were some of the best we saw all week – some extremely difficult pin placements that if you hit on the wrong side of opened up the opportunity to 3-4 putt. Generous fairways made it easy to keep the ball in play – some risk/reward holes, which provided opportunities to make up for lost shots.
