Architect: Tom Fazio, (866) 531.6611 – South Myrtle Beach South Carolina. Blackmoor is a must play in the Myrtle Beach area. It’s creative, well maintained and extremely friendly.
Blackmoor Golf Club, a Gary Player Signature course located in South Myrtle Beach, SC was built on the historic Longwood Plantation, whose heritage as an antebellum rice plantation along the majestic Waccamaw River accounts for much of its charm. The 18 championship holes feature flowing lakes, moss-draped oaks, lofty pines, and ever changing cypres.
Be on you A game. The par-3 15th hole at Blackmoor Golf Club rejects anything that doesn’t land and stay on the green.

Very Nice Course
Blackmoor was a super fun course to play while my family was on vacation in Myrtle beach! Course was in great shape and the greens putted true. We were the first tee time of the day and our foursome flew thru. Great quality and a decently easy golf course to play! Thanks to tee-links for the great pricing!

Very Enjoyable Course
Played in 4 hours and 10 minutes. Great pace for course. no waiting like heritage course. Fairways are in good shape. Front 9 is straightforward but the back 9 has more doglegs (7 out of 8 doglegs are right handers). Greens were fast but challenging Greens are relatively small and flat except for #11. I consider myself a good putter but only made one or two beyond 10′. No visible yardage markers on the course, everything is marked on sprinkler heads or plaques in ground. This course is in South Myrtle I think the best area of Myrtle Beach.

Blackmoor is definitely worth playing. The course in lined with trees with nice greens. It has a level of difficulty and will be penalized if off fairway, but can recover. Not penalty. Pace is good – finished in 4 1/2 hours. Highly recommend it!
