Myrtle Beach Preseason Classic (February 2-4, 2015)

New for 2015, the Myrtle Beach Preseason Classic is a 54 hole, two-person golf tournament that included six great Myrtle Beach layouts. The event includes flight prizes, random drawings, on course contest and great golf camaraderie. Limited to the first 100 teams, players will compete on three different courses to determine the winner of each flight based on team handicap. Hootie and the Blowfish Monday After the Masters Pro-Am (April 13, 2015)

Although its invitation only, the annual Hootie and the Blowfish Monday After the Masters Pro-Am is fun to watch, and proceeds go to numerous charities supported by the South Carolina band’s foundation. For more information, visit www.hootiegolf.com.

Never Forget Memorial Golf Outing (May 17-20, 2015)

More than 1,000 firefighters from around the country flock to Myrtle Beach for three days of golf, food, drink, fun….and even a belly flop contest! The Alfred E. Ronaldson Spring Golf Classic started in Orange County, N.Y., in May 1992, and has since expanded and changed host locations to the sunny Grand Strand. National Retired Military Golf Classic (May 27-30, 2015)

The 31st annual competition gives retired military personnel the chance to compete and form new friendships while competing at Myrtle Beach National, Wild Wing and Myrtlewood courses. For more information, visit www.oceanaresorts.com/golf/nrmgc.

Veterans Golf Classic (May 2015)

Held prior to the Memorial Day holiday, more than 10 area courses play host to this popular tournament, which honors both present and past members of our armed forces. Two-man teams compete in this 54-hole competition. As if that wasn’t enough, there’s also the tournament within the tournament. The Carolina Cup pits members of the American Legion against those of the VFW. Then there’s the Branch Challenge, which discovers who is the best of the best from Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines and Coast Guard. For more information, visit www.veteransclassic.com.

Family Golf Tournament (June to August)

During the summer months, Myrtle Beach Golf Holiday sponsors Family Golf Tournaments at various courses. Three worthwhile events with specialized fields include the Veterans Golf Classic, for active members of the service or veterans and their families; FDNY Memorial Golf Outing, for firefighters from across the country; and National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Golf Classic.

Father Son Golf Tournament Myrtle Beach

Father & Son Team Classic (July 15-18, 2015)
