This is one of the most scenic courses in the area with great play for a range of players. State of the art TifSport bermuda is utilized on the fairways and G-2 bentgrass is used on the putting surfaces, which are large and sloping. This is a modern era design that features ample landing zones but plenty of trouble for golfers who tend to spray their tee and approach shots. There are 5 sets of tees that afford players of all levels with an opportunity to choose a set that matches their game. The tips play to 7014 yards/141 slope, while alternate sets measure in distance and slope 6628 yards/135 slope, 6120 yards/124 slope, 5136 yards/103 slope for men and 123 for women, and 4502 yards with a player friendly slope of 107 for ladies using the forward tees.

Best ocean ridge course
Super challenging course. I played lions paw and panthers run and I did like both but tigers eye kicked my butt. Played in early September and nice time to play.

Many Course Challenges
There are many course challenges with marshes and water. We saw lots of wildlife – fox and many different kinds of birds – so pretty. Love the area. This course and leopards chase are my favorite.

Enjoyable Course
The greens make the course difficult. A person I was playing with said we should be chewing up this course, but the greens make this a tougher course than some of the other courses on the plantation. The course doesn’t require many shots over 250 yards which makes it a nice play for shorter hitters and it keeps longer hitters at bay with traps and water.

Great Couse Layout
Loved the layout and degree of difficulty. Lots of well bunker greens and varying elevations. I would rate this in the top 5 in Myrtle Beach SC.
