Grande Dunes Golf Club Reviews. This course has a spectacular layout by Roger Rulewich located on a high bluff that creates a spectacular view of the Intra-coastal Waterway. The course is located in North Myrtle Beach, SC. The large subtle rolling Bermuda grass fairways leading to large Champion Bermuda grass greens that have recently been changed over from L-93 Bent. A bit south of Grande Dunes is the equally family-friendly Broadway at the Beach, the most-visited attraction in the entire state.
Here you’ll find shopping, food and entertainment ranging from zip-lining to stunt-boats, to the mind-bending WonderWorks, housed in its striking upside-down building.
The moving ‘underwater’ walkway through the Ripley’s Aquarium, also at Broadway at the Beach, will be a sure-fire favorite of the kids, too. The Grande Dunes maintenance is superb. 5 holes along the Intracoastal Waterway are on high buffs with ocean breezes blowing across the course. The Spanish style clubhouse is very upscale with excellent food and cold beverages in the lounge. The 19th hole is one of the best on the beach. The large practice area from a chipping and separate putting course. You can chose from 6 tees with yardage from 5,353 to 7,618. The greens are huge with some interesting undulations. Bring your “A” game. Non-golfers will find great shopping and restaurants a few miles north at Barefoot Landing.

Nice round
Beautiful layout the views are stunning. So glad we decided to play this trip my sons are still talking about it. We will definitely have to play again.

Grand Dunes & Kings North are My favorite Courses
I like to play a myrtle beach north and central myrtle beach course each time I visit the area and Grand Dunes and Kings North are my favorite Courses especially “Grand Dunes” with the amazing water views. I am hoping to add the Dunes Club to the list next vacation to Myrtle Beach.

Look the Intercoastal Waterway Views
We come every summer to play this course and it is a favorite but course wasn’t in its usually condition – still good but from what I heard the Spring season was tough on a lot of the courses – coupled by the large of amount of rain but we still had fun.
