The course has really gone the extra mile making the course pretty as well as playable. Standout holes are the 6th (The Gambler) and the 12th and the signature par 3 on 11 with the island green! A challenging layout for all handicaps of golfers. Lots of water and sand. The 4th, 7th, and 17th holes are enjoyable. The pace of play on course is completely acceptable. This sensational Arnold Palmer signature course was recognized among America’s Best New Courses when it opened in 1996. King’s North made its way onto Golf Digest’s prestigiuos list of “America’s 100 Greatest Public Courses- 2004” and Golf Digest’s “Places to Play” has awarded it 4.5 STARS ever since! Plus, from 2000-2004 Golf for Women ranked it their “Top 100 Courses in America”, truly a must play in the Myrtle Beach area.

The six hole on the course is “known as the Gambler” – it is a “true test of skill” and a lot of fun. This hole is a par 5 and stands out because of its risk reward challenge. This is a testament to Kenny Roger’s phase “you got to know when to fold EM, Know when to walk away and know when to run” Kings North includes many memorable holes uniquely designed to keep most golfers on their toes.

The end of the Course Amazing!
This is our 3 visit to Myrtle Beach and our first time playing Kings North. We played nice courses before but this so far is our favorite. It was recommended by a golfer who has been coming here for 15 years so he knows the area.
We Loved the end of the course – it was amazing – 190 yard par three. It is a must play in the area. Our group of 6 all enjoyed it. We will be back.

Definitely a Challenging Course
You have to work around the sand and water. You need to prepare for each shot and put some thought into it. Definitely a Challenge – need to be on your game.

Nothing like the "Gambler" at MBN Kings North
This course is a must-play, one of the golfers in our group actually used the word “WOW” while playing this course. It is a beautiful design and conditions were good. A unique hole referred to as the “The Gambler is the best I’ve experience in Myrtle Beach, and I have played A LOT of top courses here. The course proves to be very challenging, and you will not be disappointed. We had switched our booking from the Heritage Club which has terrible over booking problems – we like the scenery at the Heritage course but a 4 hour round turns into a 6 hour round. We just happen to get a last minute tee-time at MBN Kings north and we are so happy we did.

MBN Kings North Best Course Played so Far
Beautiful Course. Great Layout and nice scenery There is lots of water and bunkers. Be sure to bring lots of extra golf balls you might need them. You need to bring your A Game this one is a challenging Course.
