Blackmoor Golf Club

is a must play in the Myrtle Beach area. It’s creative, well maintained and extremely friendly. Everyone does a little of everything. An assistant golf professional was working the bag drop, while another was working the counter. Seniority doesn’t determine who does what. It rotates.

The par-3 15th hole at Blackmoor Golf Club rejects anything that doesn’t land and stay on the green.

Blackmoor Golf Club, a Gary Player Signature course, was built on the historic Longwood Plantation, whose heritage as an antebellum rice plantation along the majestic Waccamaw River accounts for much of its charm.

Southcreek Golf Club

The course rating is 71.0 and it has a slope rating of 128 on Bermuda grass.  Designed by Arnold Palmer/Francis J. Duane, ASGCA, the South Creek golf course opened in 1973. Brad Crumling manages the course as the Golf Professional.

Southcreek poses a fantastic test of your golf course management and accuracy. Set amongst coastal wetland and hardwood forest it is regarded as the “finesse” course of the three layouts at the National.

Wild Wing Golf Club

The Avocet, designed as a signature course by the team of Jeff Brauer and Larry Nelson, presents creative contouring, elevated tees and greens, and an all around uniqueness that cannot be matched.

The opening hole, a 402-yard par-4, sports grass depressions in lieu of sand bunkers around the green. The par-4 sixth hole features a three-tiered, double green shared with the par-3 17th. The 362-yard ninth, considered by many to be the signature hole, has a double fairway bisected by a line of grass and sand pot bunkers.
