There are 30 sand hazards of various shapes and sizes in the form of waste bunkers and fairway or greenside traps, and water hazards come into play on 7 holes, with a couple forced carries. The par four 7th has an island green with a depth of 36 yards. An accurate drive to near the 120 yard marker will leave a short iron or wedge to this daunting green complex on this high handicap hole. The following par four plays to 430 yards from the tips with a long waste bunker to the right helping to make this the number one handicap on the course. There are 5 sets of tee boxes that play to distances and slopes measuring 6875 yards/132 slope, 6313 yards/122 slope, 5728 yards/113 slope, 5189 yards/126 slope for women and 4106 yards with a slope of 106 for ladies playing from the forward tee areas. On course the Kirby marking System is in place (blocks every 25 yards fro 200-75) on the fairways and cart paths also have measurements at 100, 150 and 200 yards. 150 yard stakes are posted on all par fours and fives, and color coded flags indicate the day’s front, middle or back hole locations.

Course could have been better
Played tradition yesterday. 60% off in the club house. Golf course tees, greens were great however the fairways were a little sparse and looks like they had a great deal of tree damage that they are doing a lot of cutting down some huge trees so no rough but many unplayable lies do to mulch piles everywhere if the ball rolled out of the fairway๐๏ธโโ๏ธ. Playing Caledonia tomorrow hopefully this course is better.
